Course work is taken at Nanzan University in Nagoya, Japan, and includes Japanese language study and additional appropriate courses with English as the language of instruction.

Homestay: Nanzan’s homestay program is one of the largest in Japan and has been extremely well received by numerous students at Center for Japanese Studies. Through the experience of sharing daily life with a Japanese family, Japanese culture can be learned first hand. These live-in situations also give everyone a precious opportunity to communicate across cultures and to make life-long friendships. For commuting fees to the university, a student will need to factor extra expenses.
