Through the OUAA’s generosity, OU students are selected each year for awards up to $2,000 each that enable them to study and travel in a foreign country. The OUAA Scholarship Program’s Study Abroad Scholarships recognize the tremendous academic and career benefits of learning about other cultures. In partnership with Oakland University, the OUAA encourages students to take advantage of these opportunities to enhance their understanding of the global economy and the many peoples of the world.

She planned to pursue a degree in physical therapy, and through her studies, she had the opportunity to study abroad in London and Amsterdam. These meaningful experiences inspired her love of travel and changed her entire outlook on life, which Hailey’s parents, Lori and Wayne Brouillet, would like to share with future study-abroad students. The exact amount of each award will depend on the amount available in the fund, but is approximately $1,000.
